Hello there! Wow, it has been a few long months without any sign of me on this blog. Reason? I didn’t feel like writing at all. My head was empty and I feel more inspirational, now that the weather is much better. Writing a blogpost in my garden with a glass of Ice Tea and some good music feels a lot more attractive than sitting on the couch with a little blanket. That’s how my brain works, haha. Anyways, here I am again, trying to keep my life together in this week of red waterfalls. The reason why I wanted to share my clothing ideas with you. On a warm day like this one (in the Netherlands at least) with menstruation cramps and overeating, you don’t want to die in hot sweatpants, right? I still find it hard sometimes to pick something out. Maybe these ideas will help you out!
One thing I don’t use are tampons. I hate the idea of putting something inside my tunnel of love for a few hours. I use pads instead. Just change them often and it will be okay. I am still afraid of leaking at some days. That’s why I wear lots of black at these times. Other colors are out of the picture for shorts in my case. Black shorts are therefore a good alternative. Not denim, caton for example is airy enough for warm days. And… it absolutely looks cute!
Another item I love to wear are loose dresses. No tight fabrics around your legs. Just perfect for summer in general! No sweat and all that. And it feels nice enough around the sensible area too, I can promise you that.
Denim shorts are a no-go (for me) to wear. It just feels so uncomfortabe. You don’t want to feel anything down there. If you’re still scared for leaking, you can wear a darker denim skirt or even a black one. If not, you can go for a light-blue one, which I think is a good color for summer.
A thing I like to wear in summer AND in winter are flared pants (legging, jeans, caton). Thin leggings are not that hot and they look very stylish. I love the ones with buttons on the side, which you can open up to your thigh.
Remember, these are clothing items that I like to wear through my period, not things you HAVE to wear. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in and you will get through the week! ❤️
